Curtis C. Isacke

Curtis Isacke practices in the firm's litigation department.  Curtis has represented individuals, executives, directors, financial institutions, and national and international companies in a variety of matters, including appellate, commercial, employment, qui tam, securities, white collar, antitrust, legal malpractice, and insurance litigation.  He has represented clients in state and federal courts, including the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Second, and District of Columbia Circuits, and numerous United States district courts.  Curtis has conducted internal investigations and engaged in legislative advocacy on behalf of clients.  Recently, Curtis has represented:
  • Fortune 500 healthcare company in False Claims Act qui tam litigation;
  • Fortune 500 company in tort litigation with contract farmers;
  • Major hedge fund in litigation with Argentine government over bond payments;
  • National commercial bank in mortgage foreclosures investigation by regulators; and
  • National insurance company in bad faith litigation.
Curtis has pro bono experience working and representing clients in civil rights and immigration law matters.  He has also represented minor children as a court-appointed guardian ad litem in custody disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, Curtis practiced in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP, where he focused on appellate litigation, complex civil litigation, and white collar defense.
