Dennis
George
Dennis George practices at
McNaul Ebel in the areas of business counseling and
litigation, including negotiations, contracts, biotechnology
issues, and issues relating to the responsibilities
and liability of corporate directors and officers, and
is available to serve as a mediator.
Mr. George has extensive private
law practice experience in Seattle. He recently served
for four years as an executive officer and general counsel
of Dendreon Corporation, a Seattle-based public biotechnology
company. He has been a presenter and panelist at business
management seminars and workshops and in continuing
legal education programs, and served as a trustee of
the Northern Michigan University Foundation, a board
member of the Japan-America Society of Washington, and
past president of the Federal Bar Association of the
Western District of Washington. Mr. George joined McNaul
Ebel in 2003 and is the firm's contact for membership
in the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association.
Mr. George received his undergraduate
degree with honors from Northern Michigan University
in 1960 and his law degree with honors from the University
of Wisconsin Law School in 1966 where he was a member
of the school's law review editorial board. He received
an honorary doctor of science degree from Northern Michigan
University in 2005. Mr. George was admitted to practice
in Washington in 1966, and is also admitted to practice
in the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern
Districts of Washington, the US Court of Appeals for
the Ninth Circuit, and the US Supreme Court.
