David Rubenstein

David Rubenstein practices in the firm’s Real Estate and Capital Markets group, helping clients through the real estate life cycle from beginning to end. He focuses on all aspects of purchase and sale transactions, financing, leasing, management, easements, and commercial development. He frequently drafts transaction documents, performs title review and due diligence, and advises clients on contracts relating to commercial property management.

Before joining McNaul Ebel in 2016, David was in private practice in the Portland, Oregon, area and was nonpartisan legal counsel in the Washington State House of Representatives, focusing on policy issues relating to business and finance. During law school, David worked for the Honorable Richard Tallman of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, as well as the Seattle Department of Planning and Development (now SDCI); served as the articles editor of Washington Law Review; and served on the Moot Court Honor Board. He also volunteered with the Innocence Project Northwest clinic.

David is a Pacific Northwest native who enjoys cycling, snowboarding, and hiking with his dog.
